Life's a Beach in Monterey

Classmates and Spouses,

Be prepared to be amazed, if you have not had the opportunity to be stationed or pass through Monterey, California, during your service or thereafter. Some of you attended the Naval Postgraduate School while others studied a foreign language at the Defense Language Institute at our Presidio. Others of you may have passed through while traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles on the historic Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1).

The Monterey Peninsula is truly a magnificent locale to gather, reminisce and enjoy each other¹s company (Company?) again. We have a wonderful three days set up, headquartered in the Monterey Marriott hotel near Fisherman¹s Wharf. Our program includes golf, touring, shopping, just plain meeting again and even a Luau for those who want to remember R&R in Hawaii.

Attached are registration forms, descriptions and pricing of the various events and some basic information regarding travel. Take a look, talk to your friends, and decide to come to the west coast to see why ³Life¹s a Beach in Monterey². Registrations must be in by June 1, but would be appreciated earlier. Some activities and tours have limited capacity.
